Demonstrates Gauss' law relating to the distribution of charges, and the dependence of field strength near a conductor on its radius of curvature. Demonstrates the charge distribution on a sphere conductor. Consists of a 3.5 inch hollow sphere with a 1.5 inch diameter opening at the top for placement of charges. Mounted on a plastic insulating rod attached to a heavy painted cast iron base for stability.
