Great product. Only thing is it cannot be used on my crooks tubes per instructions

This was on back order for about six months, but they sent an email when it was in stock. Purchased to power geissler tubes, which shouldn't be illuminated for very long. Since the power supply is only supposed to run continuously for a minute, it works perfectly for that job. Can generate some nice sparks across the gap, if that is what interests you.

I purchased this unit to serve as a high voltage DC power supply to some Geissler and Crookes tubes. Although the first unit failed after only two uses, Sci Supply sent a replacement ASAP, no questions asked, and the second unit works very well. It's nice to be able to control the potential in order to avoid bremsstrahlung in evacuated tubes, and this unit provides that flexibility. Good work.

I wanted more info before making my purchase. I left 3 voice mail messages and 2 emails asking for a response. I never got a single response.
