This precision machined 120cm linear air track is made of high quality extruded aluminum. A linear air track can be used:
-To demonstrate the independence of horizontal and vertical motion.
-To demonstrate that the centre of mass of a system subject to no external forces remains stationary.
-To demonstrate Newton's third law.
-To demonstrate coupled oscillations on the air track.
-To demonstrate a model that illustrates the interatomic force.
-To demonstrate elastic collisions on the air track.
The air track comes complete with 2 air carts and an accessory kit, which includes a pulley system, elevation/leveling props, brackets and weights. Complete instructions included.
